Eligibility Criteria
Successful applicants for the CPU CSC Scholarship should meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a country other than China.
- Health: Must have a good mental and physical health.
- The education background:
- For the master’s program: Bachelor’s degree in good standing with an age limit of 35.
- For the doctoral program: Must have a master’s level of successful completion and below 40 years of age.
- Language requirements:
- For Chinese programs: HSK Level 4 and above.
- For English programs: IELTS6.5+, TOEFL90+(non-native English speakers are exempted).
- Additional Requirement: Must meet CPU’s academic and admission standards.

Application Procedure of CSC Postgraduate Scholarships 2025
These are the processes to apply for the CSC Scholarship to CPU:
- Online Application to CPU:
- Make application through the CPU application platform between November 15, 2024, and February 20, 2025.
- Upload all required documents.
- Initial Review and Interview at CPU:
- CPU will review and interview in February or March 2025.
- Intimate yourself with any interview details in your email, wherein you shall forfeit your application upon missing an interview.
- CSC Application:
- Completing your CSC application through the CSC Platform by March 16, 2025, after the acceptance letter from the CPU.
- CPU Agency Number is: 10316, and the scholarship program category: Type B.
- CSC Evaluation:
- CPU will submit your application for final evaluation by the China Scholarship Council.
- Result Announcement:
- Results of admission shall be posted on the CPU website or sent by email.
- Registration:
- Successful candidates shall register at CPU in September 2025.
