Introduction:

Applications are open for the Diya Pakistan Scholarship. Diya Pakistan Scholarship is Pakistan’s most prestigious scholarship programme, which provides an opportunity for needy students in Pakistan to study in reputed institutions. It is open to all Pakistani students. Diya Pakistan offers a grant of Rs. 55,000 annually for students needs.  All needy Pakistani students who are enrolled in Bachelors degree & Master’s degree programs in  any university can apply for it.

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the Diya Pakistan Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Only students who are enrolled in Graduation Level OR Master   Level Programs apply through Online Web Application System.
• PhD and MPhil applicants are excluded from the Diya Scholarship program. However, applicants pursuing MPhil directly after their undergraduate degree are eligible to apply. Those candidates who are pursuing MPhil after completing a master’s degree (MA, MSc, or MS) are not eligible. Application from students at the secondary or high school level will not be accepted through this online system.
• Outstanding and needy students in Intermediate Level or School level, will apply through their Schools/Institutes. Currently Diya Pakistan is  giving scholarships in Govt. institutes only.
• Candidates who are already getting scholarships more than RS: 25000 per year from other organization are not eligible for Diya Scholarship.
• Minimum secured at least 60% marks at all levels.
• The candidates who are applying for the first time, carefully fill out the Online Scholarship Application and Upload scan documents.
• Selection will take 30 to 45 days after reviewing your application with scans and you can check the status of your application on a weekly basis on the web site.
• Outcomes of your application will be updated on the web as Clarify, Incomplete, Complete , Not Accepted, Approved.
• Once approved your application, a cheque will be mailed to your institution within 10-30 days. After verification, it will be either handed over to you or used to adjest your tuition fees. You can cash the cheque at any Meezan Bank branch by presenting your original national identity card (NIC) and providing a photocopy of your NIC.”
• Scholarship is paid for yearly basis from 1st June to 30 July. Student may apply for renewal next year if course continues.
• Rejected Students cannot   APPLY again in any case, previously or who provided fake/modified/cut paste documents / information.

• Matric Certificate
• Family Registration Certificate form NADRA

• Bachelor’s Degree (If Applicant is in Master Level Program)
• Hifz-ul-Quran Certificate (if you are Hafiz Al-Quran, 5% marks will be given additional)
• Disability Certificate (If any)
• All University Semester / Yearly transcripts where result is declared.
• Fee Receipts or Bank Challan for current year.
• Salary Slip (If guardian is employed)
• Pension document , must showing name page and pension amount page. (If guardian is pensioner)

• College Card if available.

If the candidates studied in Private College at Intermediate Level then must provide their Fee receipt or Payment Certificate from College about your dues.
