Edinburgh Visiting Fellowship Program 2025
The applications for the Edinburgh Visiting Fellowship Program 2025/26 in Uk are now open. This fellowship not only enjoys a full grant, but it will also go to international applicants to spend 3 to 6 months at the University of Edinburgh. Organized by the Edinburgh Futures Institute, it aims to address today’s complex issues by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. During the fellowship, and amongst other fellows and researchers as well as students, participants will also have opportunities to engage in seminars, events, and training courses to gain very valuable experience. The fellowship provides a fellowship stipend, airfare, and visa expenses, and accepts applicants of all nationalities. Each application is fee-free. Edinburgh Visiting Fellowship Periods
Fellows can choose to spend 3 to 6 months during one of the following periods:
- Semester 1: September 2025 – February 2026
- Semester 2: January 2026 – June 2026

Eligibility Criteria of Edinburgh Visiting Fellowship
To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants should:
- Reside abroad during their fellowship period.
- Hold an indefinite or permanent academic appointment during the proposed fellowship period.
- Have experience in one of the specified research areas.
- Strong encouragement goes to applicants from developing countries and those with economies in transition.
