The Opportunity

As a key member of Plan International’s Global Humanitarian Team, the Humanitarian Strategic Operations Manager is pivotal in propelling the organization into the new era of a global humanitarian strategy. The position focuses specifically on strengthening Plan International’s capacity and resource mobilization efforts in response to rising needs during emergencies. The role entails formulating strategies, planning and managing time-bound strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing emergency response and preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of Strategic Frameworks: The development of a strategic framework within the context of Plan International objectives.
  • Project Initiation and Management: Lead new project design and implementation phases; deliver results in an agile way.
  • Emergency Response Development: Increase speed, quality, and relevance in the emergency responses of Plan International.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders to drive strategic solutions and elevate the humanitarian efforts of the organization.
  • Leadership and Communication: Workmanship in strong leadership and communication styles to ensure a good team blend.
