University of Eastern Finland Scholarship
UEF has opened applications for the 2025 academic year. International students from around the globe can apply for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs at UEF. With nearly 500 students’ quotas available in the 25 programs, the non-European citizens have the best opportunity to study at this diversified public institution. The university will bank on about 2,000 international students; about 100 countries send students in autumn 2025 to study in those programs. The scholarship applications must be submitted concurrently with the application for admission into Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.

Financial Benefits
There are three kinds of scholarships open to non-European candidates:
- UEF Scholarship: Total Exemption from Tuition
- Tuition Waiver: A maximum of half of the tuition fee
- Finnish Proficiency Tuition Waivers: Available during studies at UEF.
Note: Studies are free for Finnish citizens, EU/EEA, and Swiss citizens.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open for both international and Finnish citizens.
- Must have completed secondary education.
- Finnish and international applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree may apply for Master’s programs.

English Language Requirements
